Welcome to the world of 1C Maddox, Krazee. There are many ways to find and join a forum you had no knowledge of before so don't let the holier-than-thou mob get to you. Forums exist to help.

You'll know by now that this is a WWII (1938 through to 1946) Air Combat Simulation that is rated by its followers as the best ever. Good flight models, good damage modelling, good maps/terrain/scenery and a community of helpful and often really good 'virtual' pilots. Many belong to the on-line server community where you meet and take on other virtual pilots from all over the world.

For practice, in addition to the off-line Quick Mission Builder mentioned there are a limited number of ready-made short off-line missions. You simply pick a Country to fly for, select one of its aircraft types and then a mission created for that country/aircraft and go fly it. On the other hand QMB does let you choose which a/c you will fly and how many of what type (and what skill level) you will fly against.

If you get on-line you may like to join a Squad(ron) of one historical nationality or another although many such Squads will fly on any side on-line, depending on the balance of numbers on the server they go into (usually through Hyperlobby). Also many Squads run their own servers either permanently or part-time for training or historical missions.

It can be a steep learning curve - not so much how to fly but how to survive - and flying with a Squad or teaming up with others on a loose basis will help you a lot.

Hope you give it a try.
