Yes: It's a known issue with the cable with the right throttle. Me (and others) have send the G940 back to Logitech and got a new one which showed the same problem later, too.
I (and others, too) have finally taken the problem in my own hands and opened it.
Here's an example (albeit in German, from somebody else) on how to fix it.
Be aware: you loose any warranty by taking this path...
