I've seen a few of these engines start up
1. Lazy/slow red/yellow flame from fuel primed start up.
2. Blue smoke clearing cylinders with yellow flames to brown/grey smoke.
3. Blue with yellow tips on engine run up and under run.
4. Shut down black/grey exhaust smoke short burst.
