I'm really hoping to fly an Anson.
An Airfix 1/72 Anson 1 was one of my first seriouis attempts at painting a model plane. I still have the poor thing somewhere.

Personally speaking, the P-40 could contend on an equal footing with all the types of Messerschmitts, almost to the end of 1943.
