The mods are actually hacks and discussion (IIRC) is prohibited here. I use the mods, and I would think most who post here do, but I am not sure we can give you a link to any mods.
What version of Il-2 do you have? As you need Il-2 1946 to be able to install any mods.
EDIT-I have PM'ed him so I think we can consider this closed. If I was not allowed to PM him I will take the blame.
