Phantom is better than Gift especially if you are using a single stack, phantomed paladins can not only give you up to 50% of the stacks' ressurection, but also you can have your phantoms trade second wind with your main stack, allowing your main stack to trade 2 swipes with a boss in a round (your phantom can then be second winded as well), and they also fight and keep the others off of your main stack and with K'Tahu it helps in a single stack fight to have several phantoms around in case your main stack gets feared by Tirex.
