I am currently using the 480GTX. Tessellation in AvP is on the creature and surfaces, but frankly I do not have time to watch at them when the hordes of aliens and predators are engaging
In Metro it has some effect, but again noticing tessellation is IMO just a gimmick. Has too much impact to FPS. In SoW tessellation..up to Oleg, but could live without it.
