I'm trying to get the point over here guys that it really is a case of "going with the flow". I'm sure Oleg has all the key parts he intends to work on for the release already in place, it's just a case of putting them all together and then giving it to us (well offering to us, as to give means it would be free ).

I would think that as-much as we would all like to see this aircraft, or that effect, etc,etc the focus is now on getting what there is into a sale-able product and then internal Alpha/Beta and finally ready for Gold.

What I tried to make clear in the OP was, look, we are all excited about this, if we weren't we wouldn't be on the forums checking the status regularly, but there is no-point whining or complaining about what you would like to see, as whatever is going to happen...will happen.

The updates are interesting, but only video showing the sim 'in-action' makes me interested as I can get an idea of what will be in the future release. Images give you an idea of what visually there will be, but consider the Spitfire video.

You could see the aircraft shake, the shadows move, the water shine, all in real-time.

A still image just can't convey that? So while there can be complaints of how tracer looks and how flames aren't right (not my op.) only a video can show how the flames and smoke move, how the tracer looks, how the clouds move (I guess) and if there will be dynamic weather (I'm sure I heard you would take-off in sunlight then roll into a storm?).

But ultimately we are the consumers and Oleg is the supplier and until the sim is released we may as well just sit down, look at the Friday update, drink an ice-cold beer and look forward to the Simulation event of the decade (just not sure which decade though!)

Cheers, MP
