the average squadron had 12 to 14 plane, so what we're talking about is circa 60 planes (operational and non operational..). If that's not marginal use I don't know how to call it.

By 3 June sufficient Berger G-3 suits had been obtained from 9th Air Force to equip the 339th Group, who quickly appreciated the benefits and wore the suits on every mission. A larger supply of G-3s was not available until October, but
all groups were equipped by November.
