actually i did kill all the ship in Dyson Sphere system to see what the Alien dreadnought was droping, but it drops just alien turrets (turret slot) as frigates do (they also drop alien guns or Alien nano torpedoes (those ugly torps that deal damage to ship hull over time, awsome weapon for final mission).

To do this just go to one side of the Alien blockade around gate, snipe the frigate which is farest from gate (left or right) with your MS, run away,deal with the fighters, kill the 2nd frigate that is following. Then at this point there is 2 frigates left + dreadnought + fighters escort but they dont follow you. Do the same with the last 2 frigates by going around the blockade camp. Then finish the dreadnought by flanking him so he cant use all his weapons on you.

Make sure when you attack the 2nd frigate to attract its attention on your fighters rather than the MS if you dont have polarizer ability ( i had noone in my team with this ability), because unlike the 1st frigate that you can kill from behind, this one will be directly facing you with all guns because following you . I went there with the following fit : 2 kalis and 1 tungsten + system mk3 IA (that was the fit i used to permanently tank the alien spawn in precursor system at the memorial). With this fit, no real need of polarizer, they never get past your shield because of the regen rate, and you can tank the fighter escort, and killing them as moving away from the gate (make sure when killing first frigate that alien fighters all aggro the MS and not your fighters, basically i put all my fighters far behind my MS when i attacked the first frigate to avoid the first alien nano torps wave from the escort, when first frigate is killed run away with your fighters to avoid the second nano torp wave from the 2nd frigate escort).
One of my fighter was equiped with a ranger scanner to see when they were aggroing so i could turn back and run while killing them.

i did not tried to attack the Aliens when jumping back in Precursor system from Dyson (they were neutral despite the fact i killed all their friends in Dyson) but i guess the loot is the same, alien gun + missiles, some turrets and torpedoes.
I guess the same tactic would work, deal with the frigate at the end of their line from Dyson gate to gate back to Border system, run away deal with the fighters following, deal with next frigate, run away and so on. I did not tried, because i suspected you could not jump out after that because of the stolen artifacts in your cargo.

(btw i never managed to use the turrets on my MS because Joseph left the team before i could dock to a station, and siding with NESF there was no character giving the ability to use alien guns after)
