I see new faces, but my old friends seem to have disappeared????
Hey guys, I want to first apologize for not showing up for plane battle tournament, hope it was fun.
I created this thread after typing a very lond reply to the "to aces" thread about mirgervin. Unfortunately, I guess I timed out and my entire post was lost (pissed off, has it happened to you? hope I am not alone or I will feel dumb lol)
* Well, that post was basically, a summary of my "Ace of Aces" final match against him and some tips I found useful enough to give him some fight. I didnt consider myself a proper opponent for him at the time and I definitely dont consider myself a proper opponent for most of you here today lol. I wish I had the time that I had when I first started playing this game, maybe then I could have caused Mirgervin to sweat
Say hi to him for me when you see him please. I didnt make it public but Mirgervin did not accept the $70 price that he won for that 1st place tournament. I was a bit dissapointed that the match for 3rd place did not even take place and that is why I really lost interest in any more "Ace of Aces tournament" related material.
* It was a tournament I enjoyed and easy to organize and run. With the amount of new faces comes a sense of refreshness to the game and I was thinking about creating "Ace of Aces 2" With all the money I did not manage to give away I can have some reward money (not as much as before but still money
) I think that a price adds some spice to the competition. I know that 1vs1 tournaments may no longer be popular, but there are many new faces that may think otherwise. I would not go into 2vs2 or other team tournaments because they require more organizing, but a 1vs1 (nice and simple) I can manage the time for.
