Your welcome. I've been searching off an on today trying to learn more about the costs to developers for patch updates hopefully to get an understanding of why Xbox is not getting the patch.
Though I really couldn't find anything I did run across another article from Forbes magazine that's called "Why Gears of War Costs $60". It really breaks down the costs and bottom line for game development. The article can be found here:

I am only speculating but I am really starting to feel as though the 360 update is just an extra expense that 505 cannot justify.
