This means they are working on the sequel with their own money, and gambling on the fact that a publisher will pick it up in the future. That publisher is highly unlikely to be 505, and if no-one does pick it up, it will more than likely be curtains for Gaijin.
So don't boycott the sequel, openly support it. Whether you think it or not, Gaijin have been really good to the community, and the sequel will be awesome because they will just be adding all the features we wanted in BoP and learning from their mistakes.
Anton, if you happen to read this, and if you haven't already, I recommend approaching Atlus...they're renowned for bringing harder than average, non-mainstream foreign games to the American market. And they must have a bit of cash and confidence after Demon's Souls.
