I fiddled with various dll's that are floating around. With the 4.09beta dll's the textures flickered, but with Catalyst AI on Standard all looks normal, so something has changed there. Before if enabling Catalyst AI you got funny looking water and stutter. A small side effect with the beta DLL's is that the shoreline is darker and shows thru fog, but if you can live with that then it is OK.
But back to original topic. Would there be any chance at all that Team Daidalos or Oleg's team could release a set of DLL's that would give better support for ATI? ATI is releasing 7th of january their Catalyst 10.1 drivers with FULL OpenGL 3.2 support so if IL-2 could get a set of new DLL's we ATI users could also enjoy. Please?
And mind you, IL-2 is the ONLY game I have on my HDD that gives trouble with ATI. I can put Aces High 2 on full settings without a glitch, same applies to EVE Online and Rise Of Flight. So a humble please for some support?
