I guess to each their own, I know personally I won't play a flight sim with a pad, I just can't do it. I'm sure there are players that are AMAZING with a pad.
Maybe even better then people with a Flight stick.

I just can't get into it, for me it takes all the immersive level out of the sim.

I'll still play on the 360 with my ace edge but, unless something is done to fix the zoom in custom layouts, I will sadly not be on the ps3 version. I was really looking forward to flying with you guys for months while we waited on the patch.
I will never understand how they missed something this big.
The 3 main things that people have asked for in these forums since release day, has been Customizable controls, flight stick support and cockpits.

I have almost 50 pc friends who own ps3'3 that were waiting on this patch, so they could use their pc flight sticks and play sim mode online. Doesn't look like thats going to happen now.

I know I sound bleak but more then anything I just feel like I have been let down.
I have been here since before release when there was only maybe 10 people posting in here. I have never once complained or bitched. I have supported this game with my words and my money(every ver on all systems bought day 1).
I have defended the DEV's every chance I have had.
I have made posts on tons of sites to draw people in and I have left updates about the status of the patch on these sites.
When people have had problems with the game I have taken time to always answer their question to the best of my knowledge.

I just really thought after all this time, they would get this one right.
I'm not saying their hearts weren't in fixing things. I'm just really bummed at the failure of this patch to fix what a lot of us needed in order to play the game on the ps3.

Atleast I have Rise of flight. LOL
