Well, apart from the obvious discrepancies, I have noticed that in the high scores, the game-based heroes (mistikus, thomas torkve, etc.) have dragon's pet hame in brackets. I wonder if this has something to do with the high-score compatibility. Still my save games from the russian version and the high scores were available in the english version as well.
Here's the screen, check the dragon's name. It is the same for all other heroes in my game here.
