Advertising would not save this games ass, it was the amount of bugs that deterred the gamers that are not willing to tolerate the glitches that come with porting a game over from PC to consoles. People just dont realise how much of a step forward this is!

But I mean seriously the demand for such an app would first have to come from a high demand for the game itself. Which we can agree, there is next to none.

I just played a game online with a guy that had rented the game for 5 days, been trying endlessly to play online for 3 of them, and had only just had his first battle online then!

And I quote (roughly): "I was like trying for the last 3 days but everytime it said the servers were down or broken or some shit".

Ah well, next time round I'm sure IL-2 will be (more)incredible (for those non-hardcore-flight-sim-fans).
