Here's the question: What is the reason for making all of a sudden a mission so absurdly hard? Some people have a very low frustration level concerning games, and I am one step away to throw the game in the bin. If I would want to play the INSANE mode, I'd chosen it! I really want to know whats the sense of it. Thank you.

The Arcade part is not so much applicable to the difficulty of the missions, but more to the difficulty of the flying. To keep the game a bit challenging on Arcade as well, they chose to increase the requirements to pass a mission for Arcade. Usually you'll find you have to destroy more targets and whatnot in Arcade than in Realistic. The problem with Hornet's Nest is that this concept kind of 'overshot' at that particular mission. I know you know it's supposed to be easier on Realistic. Have you tried that out? If so, if it isn't working out, why not?
