I cant comment really because i've not used the control pad for such a long time. I use the saitek joystick and as your probably aware it has some issues..... zoom being one of them. So i cant really zoom in with the joystick to comment. Sorry.
I'll maybe have a quick game with the pad and see where i end up  |

I 've just found that you can copy/past in Paint. That's just Incredible.
Besides, I've got the Saitek AV8R on X360 as well... and I have no problems to zoom (apart if you are left handed). what's your issue ???
