a) The Thrustmaster doesn't have brakes either, and I've landed an Me-163 on realistic (still haven't managed to take off again though
). You can use your rudder to steer as well, so it shouldn't be that difficult to get around someone.
b) Indeed, it's in the game, so no-one can stop you, but don't think people will respect you either
. That's not to say it doesn't happen by accident when strafing and stuff, and I never assume someone's deliberately crashing until it happens a couple of times, but after it has, the game just devolves into two sides slamming their planes into an airfield. Just seems a bit silly to me. I got the IL-4 m'self without crashing, wasn't too hard
