also just FYI any bluetooth headset is compatible with the PS3. you dont have to buy the PS3 one. but the advantage is that the PS3 head set is specially designed for gaming so its battery lasts longer, and the quality of the microphone is better. so that is why its more expensive.
sometimes it really bothers me when people have a really weak/cheap headset and log onto the PSN and when they talk it sounds like a distorted radio show from the 1920's
