I would go with the I-153. You have to baby it if you're diving for sure, but it can turn like no other. If you're lucky enough to speed up to someone's six, they'll have a hard time shaking you. Or better yet, do what the Russians did to the Japanese...come in with your landing gear down, making you look all slow and sluggish, and then retract it when you get in range and barrel at them with cannons!

Seriously, I would have to say the I-153 Chaika. Biplanes, though slow and not heavily armed, have one hell of a way to get away from enemies and such. But for monoplanes, Yak-3. I've had no problem with this planes turning or anything. Depending on whether I keep it at 5,000ft or below, the plane handles like a gem.
