Well it's easier to hit you if your on the ground, for one thing. But some people just do it for fun or to be assholes. Me like to drop bombs on people landing in CTA from my po-2. Only thing is I was just dropping a couple of bombs the other day trying to clear an area, and accidently hit a teammate. :O d'oh!
