this is how i did this mission and i kept pressing right on the d-pad to give the follow objective wich is to attack the transports also if you press it twice quickly it tells all the avalible planes to attack i forgot this at first and only one would attack the transports

Or you can press down and then right which tells all planes to proceed to the target anyway
