Back to topic: I personally hate 1v1, 'cause as Morgoth pointed out, it'll probably end up in a turning fight, which is fun if your opponent was silly enough to grab a 109, but for the rest it's just boring.
Zoom and boom in 1v1 wouldn't work too well I recon, since your opponent will always just follow you, and although a 109 may be fast, it won't be so fast that you'll be able to outrun your opponent
and make a 180
and aim nicely for him, he'd just catch up with you. And since your opponent will always come for you, it'll inevitably end up in a chicken.
