Aye, the direct hit and target destroyed just means you've hit it, not destroyed it (this can be confusing for target destroyed
).
As for finding them, I only needed to destroy a couple in Sim, and there's a couple at the end of roads or near relatively distinct buildings. Tell you what, gives me a whole new level of appreciation for how the real pilots did it, particularly as they didn't have the virtual cockpit view to help
