What is the deal with unbalanced teams?

This is more of a rant but really, come on! Start a strike mission and start the game with six players on one side (including a B-17) and three on the other ?!? WTF? I look for another Strike mission and it ends up being four on two. I just quit out of both. Then some asshole is hosting a team match but not starting the game so everytime I look for a game, I get dropped into his match. I know people are just looking for easy games to pad stats but this is ridiculous. I ended up quitting for the day because of retards online and I really wanted to play a few matches.

What you should do, is talk to a bunch of the guys on this forum and find out when they are on. Most of them here seem like the type who like fair fights, and when you find someone online who is a good sport (even teams, no intentional crashing, etc) add them. Soon you'll have a good selection of players to fly with and you will not have to worry about un-even teams.

I actually prefer an uneven fight, as most dogfights during WW2 were. Mostly it's just me and a friend or two against like five other people. IT'S FUN!!

Aye, this is the way - I've got some mates I know are good value, and are both good to fly with and happy to balance teams so both sides have a chance (both in skill and numbers). I hardly go on if they're not about, as it's ridiculously hit and miss otherwise.

Why don't you just join the team that has fewer players, if your so worried about numbers? I mean it gives you more of a challenge when outnumbered 5-1 or so?

I don't understand why people consider a pathetic, uneven win the same as an equal one.

We could have some fun with this.

Maybe we should set up a forum game night for Wed? Maybe 9:30 EST?
Strike, 20 minutes, 1200 tickets, realistic setting, unlimited loadout.
If we could get a set number of people, we could agree that each team must have 1/3 of the team in full sized bombers. Round up if we get 8 man teams, each to have 3 full sized bombers. ;) Rest of the team brings whatever.
Options:
1)allow B-17's and jets
2)disallow B-17's and jets.
We can manually balance teams in the lobby. When your team is set up, keep going back with that team the rest of the night and set up your private party to stay together. When back in the lobby, go Alpha or Bravo with your teammates. That should keep things moving along nicely. We could even play each map twice, alternating sides to keep it all even.

**NO private parties that don't include your entire team. MUST have comms and a voice you are willing to use to participate. :-P

What say you all?

You should create a new topic to set up regular games with forum goers for both xbox and ps3 where people can set up games, preferably a game for NA and EU due to time zones. l would do it myself but it would be weird since l don't have the game yet.

This is one of those questions that will have no effect on anything whatsoever (no offense). I think 90% of the people that actually visit this forum and will read your post are the players that love to fly and dogfight in an honest way. If you want to get to the crashers, leavers, etc. you'll have to find some other way I'm afraid.

On Xbox just give the player who is a douchebag a bad review. That way with any luck you wont run in to him/her again. I had one last night who was a total planet. He was talking to someone at his location but his mic was live so anyone could hear it. He joined the strike game I was waiting in. It was 2v1 and I needed another player for the team and he was it. But with all us ticked and ready to go with our teams already set, he then goes and selects the OTHER team and screws the game up and it was 3v1.

I quit right away, since Im not going to take on 3 players solo.
