With the babysitter, you do just that - babysit. You dont need to go chasing all around the sky after the fighters thats what gets the mission failed. First press Down and then right, this should make all your wingmen "defend the target". Stick right next to the bomber and when the fighters come in he should start circling. Then just patrol around him taking the odd potshot at things that look a bit close to him but dont go chasing them.

Im having a lot of trouble with these 2 as well :S.. the one with the sturmoviks... no matter what I do (stay with them, chase enemy, or a combination of those). There are just too many bf109's :S

I put it on arcade...and shot down a bf109 every few sec.. and still I lost too many IL2's

And the babysitter one... LOL... I was staying close to my 'defend target' and 3!!! times in a row... a bf109 comes down with terminal velocity...and just RAMS into my 'defend target' :S

they are too random.once i lasted 10 mins b4 any sturmoviks got shot down the next go abt 2 mins WTF.are they glicthed or sumat?

I completed both now... dont not use the 'right D-pad order' .. I found that my friends were just flying into random directions... in stead of protecting the target.

What I did with the sturmovik one: put in on arcade... fly at full WEP towards the 'enemy spawn point'. And start shooting them right away...do not wait for them to come to you. And tell your teammates to stay on your 6.

the babysitter: went flying 0.6Km behind the target..with my friends ordered to my 6.. and then only shoot an enemy when he is in front of you... and try to catch the bullets.. if they fire at your target

I know you already got it, but for others ..

I finally figured out Babysitter. I simply didn't worry too much about all the planes with the exception of the one that is flashing. I assumed THIS was the leader, or the main plane to "Babysit". I keyed on that one, and sat on his 6, swatting flies that came near him. Letting all the others pretty much fend for themselves. I commanded my flight to cover me when I started taking hits from the enemy. Had them cover me, covering the flashing one I was babysitting. Did that for several minutes, then suddenly, "Mission Complete".

Now, all I have left on that chapter is the Sturmovik esscort. The other tough one in this chapter.
