Belly landings?

Is is actually possible to do belly landings with out your wheel out? > i meant that once shot up by a bomber, all coverd in smoke and you'd get the heck out of there, is it possible to land on a road, and not explode? i once tried it and clipped my prop and blew up?

can you?

I belly landed a Blenheim during a strike game (boosting for the B52).

I don't know if you can do it in any terrain, but once I tried to land on an airfield but broke the gear of my fighter. It was on realistic, at very slow speed and ended with the plane stopped on its belly, without exploding (in any case it was all for nothing, I failed the mission).

Mine was in a random field.

I think it depends on the plane. Some planes Ive tried cant land to well at low speeds, so if the plane can glide half way decent at low speeds it should be able to belly land.

When I tried to land on simulator mode for the achieve... I did it with a spit mk XVI.. and I had 4 or 5 succesfull belly landings in a row. For some reason I didnt get it to land normally... then I took the LA-7.. and had no problems ;)

5 minutes ago i tried it too, landed carefully, turned around, and then blew up!
