crash and windows screwed
 

Hi,

I bought the game from Steam and try to play it. It starts well and I can see the intro video and create a new game, but when the first level (the hall where player is trained)... the game crashes but what is worst is that windows is deactivated, i can see only a black screen and the task manager doesn´t works anymore (can´t use CRTL-ALT-DEL to go to the desktop) so I MUST TURN OFF my computer manually, which seems oddly.

What can I do to solve this? I really NEED TO PLAY THIS GAME!

My computer is an AMD TURION 64 with 2.5 RAM and 128 in video memory.

steam is bugged pretty much, ever tried demo if it works for you? we will know than if its something with pc or with steam ver

no demo in steam
 

I´ve tried the demo from Atari, same problem. I´ve decided to buy the game from steam because I really like the game. But need to help to solve this issue.

I can´t found the file to patch it. Where is the file if the game was downloaded by steam? can´t found in the steam folder.

you need 512mb of video memory to effectively run game

I have 2GB of RAM, 1.8 ADM Turion64 X2 Mobile, ATI x1200 with 256GB of video memory, XP with SP3, and I have the same problem. My version of this game is from Nobilis. I played this game on my desktop PC with lower performance than this Laptop.
I start the game, all work fine in menu. Next I go on new game and I choose my name and type of my hero and go next. Intro goes fine, load goes fine, but when I start play and the quest log been updated my LapTop show me black screen and don't let me no action to do. Then I must to restart LapTop manualy.
Enyone who may help me with this.
