No german cockpit views is NOT ok!
In my manual it says there will be no internal cockpit views for the blenheim the bf109 F4 and the A20G. Then i find to my horror that all the german planes lack cockpit views....wft? Now, ive seen the thread concerning this problem but im a little confused about how the problem will be fixed. Will the DLC's be for free?....they should be, otherwise its a certified ripoff!! I must says the lack of these views is a major letdown for me as the 109's are my favorites and thus quite disapointing that i cannot fly them with internal views.
PS: Im on the ps3 version. |
The sticky above explains a lot of this.
But I do have a question regarding this issue: if you play simulation mode in multiplayer, aren't everyone's views supposed to be locked inside the cockpit (i.e. no external view)? How then does the game handle all these German planes with no cockpit? |

Sim offers two views, cockpit and virtual cockpit. The one without the actual cockpit modelled but just a jet-style HUD is the one you'll be using for the German planes.

Right, thanks. Virtual cockpit is the one that looks like I'm flying a closed circuit television camera across Europe right? So in sim mode I won't even know what German plane I'm flying as except from the menu screen. I think I'll stick to realistic mode, at least I can watch it in 3rd person view.

Confusingly, yes. I've always thought of virtual cockpit as the one where the cockpit is modelled in 3D, a 'virtual cockpit', if you will. However the Sturmovik devs refer to this as simply "cockpit".

They're supposedly fixing this by early October, otherwise the issue was addressed a month ago.

i prefer virtual cockpit as i dont have to look down at the dial all the tume in some planes
