I take it the Jaspar Processor is still tops.

It is supposed that all Xbox are identicall in performance (if the hard disk is attached to the console, of course).
But, the new packs with Halo 3 ODST will be Elite versions with 512MB of Flash memory on board. It saves you some space on your 120 (or next to appear 250 GB) hard disk for games, music, etc.

JASPER is only the name for a revision of the board, not a processor. All processors are identical in performance, only changes energy requeriments (the first manufactured in 2005 carried a 203Watts unit and since 2007, it is a 150Watts one).

If you want the last version of the console and a good pack, buy the Halo 3 ODST pack. Elite console with 3 games for 249€.

So...there are different "packs" for the Elite version?

Excuse the Newbie question. I just want to get the best, as far as playing BOP is concerned.

I take it all the latest Elite xBoxs have the Halo 3 ODST pack.
