Both should be great games. I am wondering why a game as great as this one is only $49.99 in the US? Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate that the developers are doing something nice for the gamers, finally. There's a lot of terrible games out there that cost the same or more than this. (don't get me started on GI Joe, real American garbage. Knowing is half the battle.) This game seems to have an almost cult following, and at least one Hurricane fetish. I can't wait for the multiplayer battles. Blazing Angels, the first one, was a good concept and a lot of fun, but it was way too arcade to capture the experience. The second one, with the missiles and other assorted weirdness, was garbage. Allowing us to make the multi settings so variable is awesome! Make people at least fly in realistic during multi so that they have to actually fight instead of holding down the button and doing the Blazing Angels super loop. Change the weather, see what it's like to fight in the rain. Had I been born in time for WW II, I wouldn't have been a pilot anyway as I don't have 20/20 vision, so this is as close as I can get, without the terror of looming death. (thanks 1C!) The fact that there's a good, realistic story to go along with this game makes it that much better. Flying low and slow so that you can drop a secret agent onto a train is complete and utter crap, entertaining, but crap. Dodging searchlights with German night-fighters crawling all over the sky, now that's a good mission. Doing it on realistic or simulator, that's a great mission. Hopefully, Gamestop will hold up their end of the deal and get the game tomorrow or Thursday. My money is on Thursday.
