Control proposal allowing for more fidelity

Hi,
I have a proposal on how to make the controls of this game more complex to bring it closer to a simulation. I know that this proposal won't make it into the DLC but the devs may consider this for a sequel.
My Idea was that a Console Controller does not have enough buttons to map all the complex controls of a flight sim to them. So I came up with the Idea of an in-game ring-menu to access the more complex controls. You could open it with the x button and cycle through the options with the right analog stick. When the menu is open the function of the RT button switches to toggling the options in the menu and the LT button could quit the menu.

While I think that Birds of Prey is the most ambitious flight sim on console I would have liked to have a bit more control over my plane.
Heres a quick example of how the menu could look like:

I'M interested in what you think of this concept and maybe you have some suggestions to make it even better.

Wow, that is very interesting.

Here's my idea:

Thats another 36+ possible buttons right there.

WOW,I have totally forgotten about that thing ^^ Your right this would be even better than a ring menu. But the ring menu could still be there for those who dont own a 360 keyboard.

I would really like to hear what the devs think of this idea

Yep, that is the only flaw in that idea. Not everyone owns one.:(

True.

Perhaps the sequel could support the controller keypad and a usb keyboard when we use flight sticks.

this would be only for the simulation difficulty. Sim Gamers like me would love to have very complex controls letting them control each part of the plane that a real pilot would be able to control.

It's totally worth the memorization. Getting to control all parts of your airplane will make it more fun and you get to customize the settings to your liking.:)

A second controller signed in for the "auxillary" controls? It'd work for joypad or stick users (who wouldnt even need a second pad).
