Nope. I knew it wouldn't work in the first place but I gave it a go, (Lol) and sorry, but A, B, X, and Y are not compatible with a PC. :)

The PC will recognize the Ace Edge as a wired Xbox 360 controller pad.

My PC isn't good enough to handle any flight sims worth a damn, so I can't speak about its function with any specific game, but...

The controller is generally compatible with PC, and every button does indeed work. (With the exception of the dummy buttons and dials)

Wait...You got the Ace Edge to work with a PC?

Yep. Just plugged it in, and wallah. :P

I am running Windows 7, and it installed as soon as I plugged it in, and all things functioned fine in the controller settings window.

A, B, X & Y = 1, 2, 3 & 4

LB & RB = 5 & 6

Start & Back = 7 & 8

LS & RS = 9 & 10

D-Pad = POV Hat

Right Stick = X & Y Rotation

The Throttle & Rudder (LT & RT) = Z Axis (I do question the functionality of all those being on Z, but they do register differently on the representative analog bar)

Sounds good to me. I have a 360 controller plugged into my laptop to play Il2 and I was able to come up with a workable set of controls using exactly the same buttons as are showing up there for you. I was using something called the Pinnacle game profiler, which let me map several functions to the same button, for example bombs and the brake were both on the Lb because there is no clash between these functions.

For me it would be worth getting an Ace Edge, because I don't have a good PC flight stick and the Ace Edge seems like a pretty good deal if I can use it with both 360 and PC.

huh, when I get home I'll try that, though that would not be the most convenient joystick. Mine on my PC at the moment isn't very high-end, (Logitech Attack 3, which isn't too bad, but no throttle handle) but I don't plan on buying a new one until another great combat flight sim comes out for PC that doesn't have 90's graphics and poor gameplay.

Same thing with the Aviator, it works but doesn't recognise the trigger on a PC. It does in one mode, that mode however makes the hat on the top of the stick non-functional. I'm not upset as I already have a HOTAS for computer games. They really shouldn't have advertised it as being for both though.
