Heavy Bombers?

I was wondering if there will be any heavy or medium bombers in the game. (besides the HE-111.)

The A20 Havoc and Bristol Blenhiem are both twin engined medium bombers, and while I haven't seen it, a lot of people are saying the B17 will be in game and flyable. I think there is a Russian twin engined bomber too, but I will have to check that out.

Edit: the Russian bomber is the Il4

Okay thanks but I ment like B-25, Ju-88, B-24, and other large bombers.

Well, those are the only heavy or medium bombers I know are in the game. Could be others of course, we don't know for sure until the plane list comes out.

I have no doubt that the Ju88 will be in the game since it's a highly recognizable plane form the Luftwaffe. The B25 25's were in the Pacific theatre. Same with the B24. Not many of them were in Europe, most being used against the Japanese. Kind of like how the B17 was first in the Pacific, but was quickly changed over to Europe, and replaced with the B24 as a heavy long range bomber in the Pacific.

But I could be wrong?

I hope those planes are in the game because I love the Mitchel especially the version withal the 75mm cannon and 50cal. machineguns.

I like the B25b. Like what they used on the Doolittle Raid, the B25J's and those with solid noses, and without the green house, are a bit to big and heavy for my likes.

I dont realy care that there're heavy. I just like all the firepower they have.

lots of B24s in Europe...lots...mostly flying out of East Anglia (I used to live just down the road from Old Buckenham airfield, where James Stewart and Walter Matthieu (sp) served on B24s...

But yeah, B24s replaced B17s in Pacific where range was a greater factor...
