Help patching

I was wondering if you've figured out a fix to the "no previous version installed" patch glitch.

I'm not sure what version I am. My registry says 1.0.2.0, My game says 1.02.1 - standard, and the readme says 1.022. When I installed I selected English.

My mow.exe says 1.0.0.0
and is 19.8mb big.
