@ trk: the video you linked to was the first trailer released, as far as I can remember (it was the first one I saw). ;)

yeah them 'gamejournalist' can't fly, frustrating to look at.

by the way, I just tried to play battlefield:1943 with southpaw controls (pitch/roll on left stick) and it is a nightmare! isnt that the way BoP plays? I got to get used to southpaw and unlearn ASAP

southpaw make sense in a way because your right hand is free to press buttons and still control the plane, but is sure feels awkward as hell

That has happened twice now.

To my knowledge, that is usually the defualt setting for most flying games on consoles.

Get a flight stick anyway. It will give you better use of the camera and throttle, etc.

Anton said unlimited ammo can be turned on in Simulator mode.

Also notice that he doesn't leave cockpit view.

Just like the pc game, it's got customizable settings. On the pc game you could toggle all kinds of settings for realism, down to unlimited ammo and bouncing off the ground. It's just up to the host what degree of simulation he wants to run. That's a good thing.
