Anton startup sequence

Anton will the planes have a engine start up sequence, and will we be able to turn on and off the navigation lights and cockpit lights?

I'm curious to know this, as well! If there is no start-up sequence, at least there are options to take off and land. So many flight games on consoles fail to pay attention to giving gamers the option to take off and land.

If there isn't I would just like to hit the throttle to start the engine up.

Take off's and landing's should definitely be included where feasible.

There is engine on and engine off in the original IL2 (landings and take off are a given). Check out a plane manual for what goes on during a 'proper' startup sequence. Trust me, you don't want one in any game, they take 15 minutes or more.

I know they can be tedious. What I should have said was "Are we going to be able to start and stop the engines"?

a great question, let anton aswer this one, HOW WAS THAT ON THE PC IL2????

Anton Yudintsev 07-21-2009 05:31 PM

No, there is no start and stop engine in this game.
Only take off and landing.

Basically you hit a key to start the engine on the original.
