Multicore Fix?

Looks like the new demo out (uses the PhysX patch) runs a lot better on multiple CPUs than the retail game.

This was taken in the starting room of the demo. Could somebody with a quad-core please show a performance report with some action scenes to really get the CPU going?

Q6600 @ 3.4GHZ
GeForce 8800 GT 512MB GDDR3
4GB RAM PC8000(1000MHZ RAM)
Windows XP SP2 & Vista SP1(Both 64-bit)

My performance in the demo was poor. 25-40 FPS, regardless of settings, PhysX enabled or not.

Overall, if this is the "Improved" version of the game. I still find it unplayable. I tried it at 1400 x 900, low on all settings, all special effects off and it still ran terrible. I bumped them to max and nothing really changed, I lost maybe 5FPS.

It's too bad, I really wanna play, as I hear the story is epic. I just can't play a Slideshow.

Hmm... In the demo I get much better frames than I do in the retail game. This is pretty obvious, but makes sure both PhysX settings are on in-game and also on in your driver.

It may be your 8800GT.

And here is the quad core usage from the demo.
It looks nice, and it runs nice too :)
