Potential fix for Vista x64 crashing in game.
 

It recently occured to me after hours of different graphics settings tweaking and fiddling with the config files, that the game always seemed to crash almost immediately after pressing a key (normally escape or F5) which ended up with APPCRASH, Kernel32.dll etc. So what was my solution? Don't use the keyboard :grin:

Seriously, I played for 3 hours last night with no crashes now that I've banned myself from using the keyboard. Give it a try and let me know if this helps anyone else. I should probably add that this was with version 1.7.

Hi Kyairan, can you send the dxdiag to our support (support@1cpublishing.eu) so we can investigate this issue in more details.

I will do that, it may complicate things to say that the only PC I have access to has Win2k8 x64 rather than Vista x64, but not using the keyboard seemed to help both. Do you want any app crash dumps?

EDIT: Sorry that wasn't very clear, King's Bounty is installed on the Windows 2008 x64 PC and that's the one I play the game on, the Vista x64 PC is a friends PC.
