Had this crash a few times as well, in addition to hard lock ups (which were only partially remedied by changing SLI to 1 card), and DEP crashes. Ridiculous.

Guys: I don't undertand this! I have WIN Vista 64 & all my drivers are up to date & I have NO ISSUES! I repeat...No issues!

Are you all updating everything? I mean your Motherboard Chipset Drivers etc.? I'm using the Atari USA version with the latest patch & I have had only one dropout in the last 5 months!

Specs:

Intel E8400 (3.0 GHz) not overclocked
4GB DDR2 800 RAM
ATI 4870 1GB Video Card (9.3 drivers) w/ slight overclock

When you guys unistall your video card drivers for a new update, are you using only the Windows/ATI/Nvidia uninstall tools? If so, you really need to use something like Driver Cleaner:

Yes...It's $10.00 for the program, but it really, really works! If I have no problems, then why are you? Maybe it's Nvidia-based problem? I'm not sure, only that I don't have any issues. I have to ask myself why is that?

This worked for me

Awesome advice on the resolution change. Thank you very much. You saved me much frustration I only wish I had seen this sooner.
