SOW: Video/Screen Shot wishlist!

Over time Oleg has posted a number of very detailed screen captures and short videos to demonstrate various models, levels of details and tools (mission builder to be specific).

To help him out, I thought we could list (and describe) screenshots or short video from SOW:BoB and what we hope it will demonstrate.

No.1 on my list would be a short video of a startup, takeoff roll and takeoff. (any plane).

Hopefully this would demonstrate how the aircraft model interacts with its environment (terrain and air), effects of torque and gyroscopic effect on the plane, transition from a ground object to flight. Sound from Startup, 0 throttle right up to takeoff power. Animations of control surfaces, undercarrage and flaps (depending on the plane)

I might be a wee bit premature, but if you don't ask nicely......... ;)

I'd like a vid of the game loading up, the user interface and the setting up of a mission, followed by a bit of flying.

That would be very interesting indeed!

The intro graphics are one of those things that stick in your mind way after you disable them. When I'm introducing my friends (Normally with a beer in hand) to a new sim, I normally let the intro scene play through. Especially with games like IL-2 where your using the games graphics engine to create the video.

I've always wondered what Oleg will do with the User Interface. I know we're still playing IL2 because of the game, but you have to admit IL2's UI is fairly plain! Compared to more modern releases it's old hat (completely functional though it is!)

I'd like to see the graphics at low, medium and high settings. Same for all the features like grass blowing in the wind and such.
