After killing spider boss
 

I killed the spider boss and then left the area to replenish my troops. Now when I come back I can,t get past the inspector to finish exploring the area.
Is there another way in???:confused::confused: Or do I need to reload a previous save??? and finish exploring before I leave area??

If the main door does not work anymore- there is no other way in in the area.
But try speaking with the dwarf... I am not sure as I cleared the area fully always before leaving, so I was never in your shoes.... but I don't see a reason why you should not be let inside again...

I just killed spider too, and I also can´t get in that area again, so I am pretty sure there is no way to do that after you accept reward. Don´t worry though, nothing special inside to collect, I think I only found 1 magic crystal- that´s about it.
If you really want to explore it just load the game?:-P

Yeah, you can't get back in after you kill the boss. I tried during my first game (i did the same thing you did), but no dice.
