Kanatos's Head
 

I have found kanatos's head... which don pedro told me about, he offers 20k, although if you don't accept right away he tries to get you down to 15k.

However, the item is marked as worth 35k, which means don pedro's deal is good only if you have no points in trade skill... with trade level3 you can sell it for 100% of its cost.. so the entire 35k to any castle. So here is the question. Is there any quest or other benefit to selling it to a specific person or to keeping it, or should i just unload it on the nearest castle?

You can exchange it for Barbarian Shield (+3 defense, +2 attack) with the Barbarian chief in Verlon Forest, before you pick up the 2nd quest from Marquis (spelling?). The shield worths only 20K.

Money wise, you better just sell it if you have trade level 3.

aha, thank you, good to know. Too bad i killed that guy already. (i have a feeling there was a ... better way to do that quest). oh well. thanks for the info.
