Item Thread

I'm listing the items that I've found in my game. Please add any items missing, thanks.

I've left out some of the cruddy stuff.

Starting out with hats - will edit in more.

Nice information, thanks. :)

Now if someone could tell us where each of the items are found that would be very helpful.

Metathron 11-29-2008 10:23 AM

The vast majority are random, so no such information can be provided.

Oh dear, you don't need threads like this, just open up items.txt or en_items.lng and you'll have there listed every single item in the game.

Could you list the path for that items file please? I can't seem to find it.

$installdir/sessions/base/loc_ses.kfs:eng_items.lng
$installdir/sessions/base/ses.kfs:items.txt

I got to the ses.kfs file but when i open it up it looks like gibberish.

What did you use to open those files?

Keneth 11-29-2008 09:47 PM

WinRAR or a similar archiving software.

sours 11-29-2008 11:07 PM

wow, thanks very much.

Its all in code and a bit tough to dig through but everything is there :D

Keneth 11-29-2008 11:12 PM

Yeah, items.txt is in code since those are the base item definitions whereas eng_items.lng is the in-game text with some minor dynamic code. I prefer reading code but it might not make much sense to someone who has never seen any.
