Base Mana (Not In Combat) Has Decreased!
 

Hi all,

I was happily playing my lvl 20 char with a base mana (with +equipment) of around 113...then a few turns later is had reduced to 75!

Is this a bug? Any way to get it back?

Did you maybe have a kid and he bumped off an artifact?

Nope, I remember taking a skill (The 3rd Higher Magic) then it happened.

Just found out I could use the console to make my mana back to 113.

Is this safe to do? Don't wish to "break" my game.

It can't just fall on its own, has to be an item or a skill that you forgot to retake after a reload. Check your inventory if there's any items whose morale is down to 0.

Thought it was that but all my items have some morale.

I remember it happening before in Dwarf country when I took a skill (it could have been Higher Magic...thinking over it again...) but luckily I had an earlier save then.

Not really.

Anyway, I used the Mana console cheat to get my mana back up...seems ok so far...
