is there any point hunt down that dead pirate barthlomews treasure (or something like that name of that pirate who will be resurrected with that blood key in eastern islands from sargophagus, i allready fought him next to sargophagus, and in small island in southeastern part of map...)

on the small island where you fight him,press D and you will dig a gem worth 80K (or something around that). nice Xp too

The diamond is part of a different quest, but the treasure is burried where you fought him on the small island. I think you get a random item out of the chest.

I got 68k gold.

I got a Silver Rapier. It wasn't really worth the money, other than the experience I gained from the fight and the satisfaction of beating the "best" pirate in the Freedom Isles.

I guess it's completely random, I got a useless artifact that sold for a little over 20k (full price), so it wasn't much of a loss for me.

Is this in reference to the key the one guy sells you for like 20k? If so, where do you use that key?

The chest reward is random. Sometimes you receive a hefty amount of gold and sometimes you receive an item. In terms of item, I have never got anything good so far and most of them are well below the entry fee of 20K gold...

I once got like 3 mind runes there ...
