Pyramid (MAY CONTAIN SPOILER)
 

Hi,

I found all the obelisks, and entered the pyramid. I looted the map, and gave it to the guy outside. Now, he tells me that the map belongs to a special someone.

What are you to do with this map?

I had hoped for a huge treasure room inside the pyramid, but .. just a map? Where's the treasure!

You can sell it to either the Dwarven king or King Mark, and maybe even the elven king too. I sold it to the Dwarf and he gave me some mithril armour - +8 defense.

Didn't personally come to that part yet, but from what I've reed you can sell it to human king for the money, to dwarf king for the armor or to elven king for 10 runes of each type (not 100% certain about the number, but almost certain :-P)

Yeah, you'll get a choice of
totally awesome +8 shield from the dwarves
+10/10/10 runes from the elves
absolutely pathetic 50,000 gold from the human king (for shame!)

Ya. They really should consider remaking this quest.

The shield is excellent.
The runes are "so-so".
The gold is horrible.

I'd much rather see some race restricted items, equal to the shield.

Dwarf shield:
+8 defense
+1 morale to dwarfs

Human lance(?)
+4 attack
+3 defense
+1 speed and initiative to cavalry (?)

Elven chain mail:
+3 int
+3 defense
+20% resistance to magic (?)

Just to add some class specific items :)

I took the shield in my first game, but I think the runes are possibly more useful to me in my second game, cos I'm a Mage and I need some Mind runes. Plus there is a dragon shield that I liked better than the dwarven mithril shield. I think the dragon shield gives +6 defense and 50% resistance against dragons, and it spawns a dragon every time you level up. :cool: So in my opinion the runes are possibly the best bet overall.

The dwarf wife can equip a shield tho so if you have her, the shield should be a no-brainer

But the dwarf wife is so ugly. :eek: Mirabella and the Demon wife are much better looking. :-P
