Crashing
 

Anybody else have problems with frequent crashes? It seems to be happening more and more lately. Makes the end game a total pain because my copy is especially fond of crashing towards the end of battles. I used to be able to play for hours without anything happening. Now I've had the game crash on me about 8 different times in Demios or however it's spelled.

It's getting to become such a nuisance I really don't feel like playing anymore.

I've started to have a *lot* of crashes. It wasn't too bad until I reach the dead waste area but fighting dragons it seem to die every other fight. This is the atari dvd version. Kind of bugs me since it is known as an old version but atari won't release a patch.

I don't think it'd make a huge difference. I have the digital download version. At least the crashes I'm getting now aren't as bad as what I originally was getting. Every once in awhile the game would crash my system but that was very rare. Now it just crashes to windows about every hour or so.

Same here, it never crashed in the first 2 continents, and maybe not even in the dwarf one, but in the elven lands I crash a lot, and these are really bad crashes, needing a hard reset

check this thread I used to have the same problem but I used the 1.6.4 Ruskie patch and now the game works fine, crashes once or twice after many hours of contiues playing but its nothing to how it was before patching.

I'll give it a shot. I just had it crash, AGAIN, for about the 5th time today. Really fun putting 15 minutes into a battle just to have it crash.

On second though, I'll wait a bit. From what I've read of the Russian translation, nothing really addresses the issue of battle crashes.

My game just ends every time i try to enter a new area. I cant even play past the tutorial. it just crashes. no error messages pop up either. im just sent right back to my desk top. Is my game defective maybe?

hmmm guys sounds like a seriues bug in the version of the program ya got I have the english version of the game and never experinced the crashes like you discribe them happens once or twice for me but not every 15min or so I would say it happens once every couple of hours
